Development Awards

Development Awards are created from National Occupational Standards (NOS). Each award consists of about four units designed to enable workers to gain recognition of their competence.

They are valuable to people who have existing professional qualifications who want to achieve recognition for their specialist competencies, or whose roles have changed and they want to evidence new competencies. They are equally valuable to those who cannot produce sufficient evidence to achieve a full NVQ, suchas , volunteers or part-time workers.

The following links will take you to pages of our National Occupational Standards (NOS) finder tool where you can find out more information about the Award in Working with Vulnerable Young People Level 3 and Award in Working with Vulnerable Young People Level 4.
