Sector Qualifications Strategy
A component of the overarching UK Vocational Qualifications Review Programme (UKVQRP) is the Sector Qualification Reform Programme which is being delivered through the UK Commission for Employment and Skills (UKCES). Within this programme UKCES required each Sector Skills Council (SSC) to have a Sector Qualifications Strategy (SQS) and associated action plan by March 2008.
The SQS for the Justice sector is a strategic document outlining the vision for the future of qualifications and learning in the Justice sector including Higher Education. It will drive the review and development of vocational qualifications in the sector ensuring a demand-led provision of qualifications across all four UK nations.
Extensive consultation across the sector has taken place in developing the SQS. For more information download and read the documents below.
