The Diploma in Probation Services programme has ceased and has been replaced from April 1st 2010 with a new Probation Qualifications Framework. Full details can be found on the following website: www.probation-northwest.co.uk information on the new training programme can be found under the heading "Probation Qualifications Framework".
Under the new framework, each Area will recruit as and when they need staff. Those interested would need to contact the HR section in the area in which they are interested in working.

It gives a review of Probation Service work and describes three careers in Probation: Trainee Probation Officer, Probation Service Officer and Supervisor.
