Reducing Reoffending (June 2011)
Skills for Justice host Policy events that focus on key issues affecting the sector. We held an event in June which saw speakers and attendees from across the sector and the UK, share their thoughts, ideas and governmental approaches to tackling ‘Reducing Offending and Reducing Reoffending’. Higher Education White Paper - Students at the Heart of the System
The White Paper| was published on 28 June 2011 and outlines proposals for significant reforms to the Higher Education system in England. This briefing summarises the key elements and offers analysis of the effect the reforms will have on employers in the Justice sector and Higher Education Learning Providers. The consultation period closes on 20 September and this analysis will inform Skills for Justice’s response. The response will be published here shortly.
Sustainable Futures (April 2011)

Skills for the Big Society (November 2010)
To help voluntary and community organisations meet this challenge, we hosted a voluntary sector skills symposium called Skills for the Big Society. A briefing paper from this event, including a full list of actions that it will be taking forward, is now available.
